Ammonia sensors can be used to measure ammonia in aqueous solutions. Ammonia sensors consist of a pH glass electrode and a reference electrode.
Electrodes are in an electrolyte. The electrolyte is separated from the sample medium by means of a hydrophobic, gas-permeable membrane. The pH of the electrolyte changes if ammonia gas diffuses through the membrane.
Applications:
- leakage monitoring in cooling systems
- ammonia determination in freshwater/seawater
- ammonia determination in wastewater
We recommend using the JUMO dTRANS Rd01 as ammonia indicating solution. Please select below.
